About Me

I am 56 years old and married with three grown-up sons, one who still lives at home. I enjoy gardening, walking my dog, reading and listening to music. I am a very sociable person and I have lots of experience in caring roles.

My personal or Work Experience

I was a primary teacher for 20 years and then I became a foster carer. Myself and my husband now provide short breaks for foster children rather than having children full time. I also work as a personal assistant for a lady with Down’s Syndrome for two days per week. I volunteer with an agency called Safe Families and provide support to families who are going through a temporary crisis or feeling isolated.
